A French artist born in the 1970s, SJ develops a unique universe at the crossroads of sculpture, photography, design, and travel. Creator of his own animal sculptures, he designs lacquered fiberglass figures which he then stages in locations chosen for their light, atmosphere, and symbolic power.

Since 2014, his sculptures have been part of an artistic approach deeply linked to living things. Through his animal and sculptural objects, produced in limited, numbered, and signed series, SJ questions the sensitive bond that humans have with nature, wildlife, and the wild world. His three wise monkeys are part of this universe: figures that are playful, silent, and meaningful all at once.

In The 3 Sages, Saint-Tropez — Old Port, SJ places his sculptures facing one of the most emblematic places in the Mediterranean. Seated at the water's edge, the three monkeys contemplate the old port, the sailboats, and the Tropezian horizon.
